Referencing the multicultural nature of the area by symbols of hospitality, particularly how people welcome visitors into their home, the piece is situated at the front steps of the Stocklands Shopping Centre and is comprised of three plinths and three bronze tableaus of food and objects of hospitality.
This piece was informed by attending Harmony Day events, conducting workshops in the shopping centre, consulting an art reference group and liaising with local community groups.
