The old art gallery was converted to a youth centre. A mural was painted on the exterior to stamp youth on the building. Existing youth centre attendees were consulted in a rigorous process over six weeks; at first the youth were bribed with soft drink and chips, however towards the end of consultations the youth were fully engaged in identifying their content and no bribe was necessary with up to 100 youth participated in the completion of the mural. The painting of the mural, also, lasted six weeks.
